ESTATE PLANNING/PROBATE SECTION VIRTUAL MEETING

SPEAKER: Brian Hill

TOPIC: Legislative Changes: What You Need to Know About Guardianship in the 2021 Session

Brian Hill will be discussing recent legislative changes that affect guardianships from the 2021 Texas legislative session. Brian graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in political science in 2005. He then earned his Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, graduating cum laude in 2013. He received a Certificate of Merit in Estate Planning and an Honors Scholarship while at Cooley Law School.  Brian clerked with the Monroe County, Michigan Probate Court and the United States Department of Justice Antitrust Division, dealing with white collar crime. Prior to Law School, Brian worked for the Travis County District Clerk's Office and in banking. Brian is a private professional guardian and practices probate, guardianship, and estate planning.
