What Every Litigator Should Know Before Your Opposing Party Files for Bankruptcy Protection
The presentation anticipates that litigators will likely be in situations where their opposing party files for bankruptcy protection mid-litigation. The presentation covers events that happen early in bankruptcy proceedings and important strategic considerations so that litigators can develop a more robust litigation strategy and properly advise their clients in the early stages of the bankruptcy case while they evaluate whether a bankruptcy specialist should be engaged.
Natalie Wilson is a Shareholder in the San Antonio office of Langley & Banack, Inc. She has specialized in commercial bankruptcy law for more than a decade, representing debtors, secured creditors, unsecured creditors committees, and trustees in bankruptcy cases as well as related adversary proceedings and appeals. She is Board Certified in Business Bankruptcy by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
