TOPIC: Texas Supreme Court Update
SPEAKERS: Nejat Ahmed and Jennifer LeMaster of LeMaster
Nejat Ahmed and Jennifer LeMaster of LeMaster & Ahmed PLLC will discuss recent decisions of the Texas Supreme Court involving the first party coverage issues of appraisal in the property insurance context and Allstate v. Irwin, a pending decision before the Texas Supreme Court involving UM/UIM coverage.
Nejat Ahmed: Ms. Ahmed focuses her practice in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. She has litigated multi-million-dollar coverage disputes involving primary and excess commercial property policies in state and federal courts while representing insurers. Ms. Ahmed now only represents commercial and residential policyholders who have had their claims improperly denied or underpaid.
Jennifer LeMaster: Ms. LeMaster focuses her practice in the areas of insurance coverage disputes and personal injury litigation. She has extensive experience litigating insurance coverage and personal injury cases in state and federal courts throughout Texas. Ms. LeMaster fights for injury victims and policyholders who have had their claims wrongfully denied.
