TOPIC: Carbon Pricing: A Market-Based Approach to Climate Risk
Carbon pricing is gaining bipartisan support as a way to rapidly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, provide a “carbon dividend” to every U.S. household, and create jobs. In this presentation, the speaker will talk about the implications of climate change and carbon pricing for the North Texas economy, a bill proposed by the Citizens’ Climate Lobby, and recent developments in Congress in support of this market-based strategy.
