Topic: Atticus Finch, the novels of Harper Lee, and Civil Discourse Among Lawyers

"If you’re a fan of To Kill a Mockingbird, then this will be the most enjoyable hour of ethics you will ever sit through. Does Atticus Finch still deserve to be on the legal profession’s pedestal after what he said and did in Go Set a Watchman? What can lawyers learn about professionalism and civility from Harper Lee’s novel Go Set a Watchman? Come to the program, and you’ll walk out of the program knowing the correct answers to both questions."

 

Time: 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 

Location:   Abuelo's in East Plano, 3420 N. Central, north of Parker Rd. 

Cost: $17 including tax and tip for fajita buffet, tea and water 

CLE credit:1 hour (For CCBA Members Only)
