The presentation discuss an introduction to basic rules of criminal law discovery and privilege; Differences between an arrest in an officer’s presence and arrest by warrant as well as advising a client subject to a search warrant; advising clients under investigation; and when lawyers have an affirmative duty to report a crime. Related topics will be covered as well as questions.
