TOPIC: " Sex Trafficking, A North Texas Crisis"
SPEAKER: Bill Morse, Community Engagement Director, Men’s Advocacy Group Coordinator
Bill Morse is Community Engagement Director at New Friends New Life where his primary responsibility is to increase education and awareness about domestic sex trafficking and exploitation in North Texas. He is a founding member and coordinator of New Friends New Life’s Men’s Advocacy Group (MAG), the organization’s anti-trafficking men’s coalition. Among other initiatives, Bill is responsible for reaching out to adolescent boys and young adult males on the topics of true masculinity and manhood and about healthy attitudes and behaviors toward women and girls through MAG’s The manKINDness Project™.
As a former financial services executive and general auditor, Bill served almost 30 years in the Federal Reserve System before joining the fight against human trafficking. Bill holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
