Join the Estate Planning and Probate Section on Friday, January 12, 2018, for “As the Power Turns – Updates to the Texas Durable Power of Attorney Act” presented by Don Totusek, Partner with Francis & Totusek, LLP. Mr. Totusek will update us on important changes to the Texas Durable Power of Attorney Act, including changes in the provisions regarding an agent’s powers and duties, new acceptance and reliance provisions, and changes to the statutory power of attorney form and the inclusion of “hot powers”.
