Title: Division of Retirement Benefits in a Divorce

Summary:
The CLE will be an overview of dividing retirement benefits in divorce. It will focus on qualified ERISA plans. The CLE will provide attorneys with a basic understanding of what Qualified Domestic Relations Orders are and what information is needed to draft them. Also to be addressed is common issues that be viewed as malpractice and how to avoid them. The outline below may change slightly while the CLE is being finalized but closely tracks what will be presented.
