·         Description:   This presentation will describe the Texas litigation declaring the Texas same-sex marriage bans unconstitutional, the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Obergefell (Marriage Equality Decision), the Texas state and local governments’ implementation of the Obergefell decision, practical tips for Texas practitioners representing LGBT clients, legal issues for In-House Counsel, retroactivity, and future legal issues arising out of the Marriage Equality Decision and its Implementation.
