* Title: “Social Firing! Avoiding Liability Around Social Media in the Workplace”
* Description: The speaker, a labor and employment attorney, will discuss uses for social media, applicable law, legal exposure due to social media, and protecting employers from liability. Attendees will learn the value of social media for employers and employees, the importance of monitoring social media, and laws applicable to social media, including privacy laws, anti-discrimination laws, fair credit reporting laws, and the National Labor Relations Act. The speaker will share illustrative examples and scenarios and provide suggestions for training employees on social media.
